Bright Ofori, a Marketing and Business Development Strategist, has been appointed by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to serve on its prestigious YouthLED Integrity Advisory Board. This appointment reflects his longstanding commitment to youth empowerment, anti-corruption advocacy, and sustainable development across Africa and beyond.

A Legacy of Impact

With over half a decade of corporate experience, Ofori has excelled in driving growth across multiple industries, including consultancy, automotive, and real estate. A holder of both a Bachelor of Science in Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ghana, he has further sharpened his expertise through advanced courses in Marketing Analytics, Project Management, and Diplomacy.

In addition to his corporate accomplishments, Ofori has spent the last decade championing youth development and global advocacy. He has collaborated with multilateral organizations, governments, and diplomatic missions, tackling issues such as corruption, governance, human rights, and environmental sustainability. Contributions to Global Policy

Ofori’s impact on the global stage is significant. This roadmap was later presented by the United States Government during the Tenth Session of the Conference of the States Parties (CoSP10) to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).

As a Youth Speaker at the invitation of UNODC, he represented young Africans, offering strategies to advance the UNCAC implementation regionally and nationally, while highlighting opportunities for country-to-country collaboration. His advocacy work has earned him recognition as a prominent voice for young people in Africa and Europe.

Founder of The Bright Future Alliance

Ofori is the Founder and Executive Director of The Bright Future Alliance (TBFA), a youth-led civil society organization committed to promoting good governance, fighting economic crime, and empowering young people. TBFA’s work spans Africa, with a special focus on fostering sustainability and governance reforms.

Driving Integrity with UNODC

In his new role on the YouthLED Integrity Advisory Board, Ofori will help guide the UNODC’s efforts to empower young people in the fight against corruption and promote integrity worldwide. The Board serves as a platform for youth leaders to collaborate on innovative solutions to global challenges, aligning with UNODC’s commitment to strengthening governance and transparency.

Speaking about his appointment, Ofori expressed gratitude and determination, stating, “This role offers an incredible opportunity to further the work of empowering youth as agents of change in combating corruption and fostering sustainable development. I am deeply honored to contribute to this vital cause.”
