Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo continues to raise the bar for Hollard Ghana, having been named Marketing Practitioner of the Year at the recently concluded 33rd Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) at Labadi Beach Hotel. The theme of this year’s CIMG award was “Creative Marketing and Innovation in a Volatile Global Economy.” She was honoured by CIMG for her unique brand-building efforts at Hollard Ghana, as well as her excellence in marketing insights, people, corporate and reputation management, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and effective marketing tactics.
Cynthia extended her heartfelt appreciation to Hollard Ghana, her family, and the entire purple family, particularly Elorm Senah and Aviel Benni Derry. She expressed gratitude to the Governing Council of CIMG for the honour and recognition, saying, “it is rewarding to be acknowledged by the distinguished CIMG for our goal to develop and ensure a brighter future through imaginative marketing.”

ABOUT CYNTHIA OFORI-DWUMFUOR
Cynthia is Hollard Ghana’s Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs. She formerly held key positions at leading advertising and communications firms and worked in the United States, the United Kingdom, and throughout Africa. She coordinated local and international projects, some of which were supported by the Rockefeller Foundation and the CGAP/World Bank. In 2021, she was named one of the top 10 women in Public Relations (PR) by Women in PR Ghana.
Cynthia was designated a top 25 innovator in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in 2021 by globally respected PRovoke Media in the coveted SABRE (Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation, and Engagement) Innovator 25 list. She is an Accredited Public Relations Professional (APR) with an MA in Professional Communication from Clemson University, USA, and a BA in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
