Drive to Inspire – Africa Hosts 2025 Impact Reporting Event, Showcasing Growing Reach and Transformational Impact Across the Continent

Drive to Inspire – Africa (DTI-A) successfully hosted its 2025 Impact Reporting Event on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Alisa Hotel in Accra, Ghana, bringing together partners, stakeholders, volunteers, and supporters to reflect on a year of measurable growth and impact.

The event highlighted the organisation’s continued commitment to empowering young Africans through career guidance, mentorship, and scholarship. The 2025 Impact Report, officially unveiled during the event, provides a comprehensive overview of DTI-A’s programmes, achievements, and expanding footprint across Africa and beyond.

A major highlight of the event was the awarding of scholarships to 23 new scholars, bringing the total number of beneficiaries under the DTI-A Scholarship Programme to 40 students. These scholarships are designed to support beneficiaries for the entire duration of their academic programmes, ensuring sustained access to education and reducing financial barriers that often limit young people’s potential.

In 2025 alone, DTI-A reached over 20,000 young people through its outreach initiatives, mentorship programmes, and webinars, reinforcing its position as a growing force in youth development across the continent. The organisation’s activities have now reached 22 countries, reflecting its growing presence and commitment to supporting young people across diverse contexts. The organisation also expanded its mentorship programme significantly, supporting participants across multiple African countries and connecting them with professionals to guide their academic and career journeys.

A key feature of the year was the successful launch of NextUp, DTI-A’s flagship convening platform designed to inspire, equip, and connect young Africans with industry and expertise, by creating space for meaningful conversations around innovation, career pathways, and opportunity. This reflects the organisation’s broader vision of bridging the gap between knowledge and practice, and preparing young people to recognise that they are built for more, encouraging them to expand their thinking and pursue their full potential.

Speaking at the event, the Founder and Executive Chairperson of the organisation, Nana Adjoa Hackman, emphasised the importance of sustained investment in young people. She reiterated the organisation’s commitment to supporting the development of Africa’s human capital by equipping young people with the exposure, guidance, and skills needed to navigate an evolving world of opportunities, broadening their awareness of diverse career pathways, and empowering them to make informed decisions about their future.

The 2025 report also highlighted DTI-A’s strategic approach, which integrates outreach, mentorship, scholarships, and partnerships to create a holistic support system for young people. Through collaborations with institutions, professionals, and organisations, DTI-A continues to build pathways that enable young Africans to transition successfully from education to employment, entrepreneurship, and leadership roles.

Beyond programme outcomes, the event also served as an opportunity to raise funds to support the expansion of all programmes, reinforcing the organisation’s vision of building Africa’s future, one young person at a time.

As DTI-A looks ahead, the organisation remains focused on expanding its reach, deepening its impact, and strengthening partnerships to support the next generation of African leaders.

The organisation extends its sincere appreciation to its partners, sponsors and volunteers whose generous support continues to make its work possible. Their commitment to investing in young people plays a critical role in advancing DTI-A’s mission and expanding its impact across the continent.
