So many times, we all had to face rejection in the pursuit of our dreams.
It could be a job rejection, relationship rejection or even school rejection.
Jasmine had her fair share of this when she applied for a masters degree program in Human Resource at The University of Central Florida
She was not discouraged with the ‘NOs’ she got, rather she saw that as God making her wait for the opportune time.
Fast forward to 2020, she graduated with her masters degree in Human Resource.
You might also have experienced some rejections in your life. They might have made you feel bad about yourself.
Jasmine’s story is evidence that sometimes, rejections are for our own good
Here’s what she has to say
Sometimes “NO” really means “NOT YET”. Thank God for rejection. For this time of waiting. For this time of redefining “NO” and rewriting my story.
This graduate school chapter is closed but I’m still looking for new opportunities in Human Resources and I see the silver lining in endings. Here’s to new beginnings!
Funny thing about this UCF educational cohort. I was rejected in 2017 when I first applied to UCF and was working at Disney as a parks College Program intern. I reapplied a year later while I was still at Disney and was accepted after the group interview process.
