What’s your name, educational, and career background?
My name is Juliet Owusu-Agyeman and I am a midwife. I completed 37 military nursing training college
What is peculiar about what you do and how do you stand out from others?
I am a midwife and I’m also a model who has ventured into business. I look at working with passion and not bothered with what is at stake
What or who is the Inspiration behind what you are doing?
Firstly I inspire myself because I always wanted to be where I am today and my mum is my great inspiration as well
What can people expect from you this year and what tips or advice do you have for people that want to do what you’re doing?
More greatness and innovative ideas towards nursing and caring for others. My advice is that if you really want something just push for it because I had to rewrite WASSCE to get where I am today. I was mocked because they thought I failed but I didn’t give up. Winners never quit
What was the hardest moment for you on your journey that almost made you give up and why did you keep going on, it doesn’t have to be connected to your present status?
Initially I was a business student and I always wanted nursing so after SHS I decided to offer a course that can help me into the nursing college. I had to rewrite WASSCE again. Imaging wearing SHS uniform again whiles I have passed that stage. People thought maybe I failed in my WASSCE and needed to rewrite. My neighbors rumored that I’m going for Second World War but I knew what I wanted . I’m glad I took that bold step
