A Nigerian man by name Kunle Adeyanju has shared on social media his plan to ride a motorcycle from London to Lagos in a bid to raise 20 million Naira for developmental projects in Nigeria.
I commenced the London – Lagos Charity Ride today April the 19th, 2022.

Mr Adeyanju is doing this in collaboration with the Rotary club in Ikoyi, Lagos State and has pledged to match 10% of every donation to his cause, with 100% of proceeds going directly towards the projects. to Primary Health, Water & Sanitation, PolioPlus project. 20% of these funds raised will be used to support the fight against Polio in Africa.
I will be doing this in partnership with Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro D9110. And 100% of the fund raised will be channeled to supporting the community projects which are Primary Healthcare and Rural Employment Schemes.

Starting his trip yesterday 19th of April 2022, the ride will traverse London, France, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, St Louis, Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Cote d’Ivorie, Ghana, Togo, Benin and end in Lagos.
Initially wanting to volunteer as a soldier in Ukraine in the war with Russia, Mr. Adeyanju turned his sights to Nigeria after a change in the circumstances of the war.
Further to my quest of enlisting in the Volunteer Foreign Fighters for Ukraine, serving in the deep penetration counterintelligence unit operating behind the enemy lines, as my contribution to help in ending the grave humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.

Consequently, i have decided i will no longer be going to Ukraine to enlist, rather i have decided to channel the energy to aid some charitable causes in Nigeria.

To do this, i will be riding a motorbike from London – Lagos next month April 2022 to help raise funds towards alleviating some dire needs in the communities detailed in the link below.
