Zipjosh as a company started as an idea to bridge the gap between consumers and sellers. The status quo has it that most purchases online are way exorbitant compared to physical purchases.
Also, the huge inequitable approach by some e-commerce companies to run promotions with huge discounts which still wasway higher than the original market value was a huge incentive to give customers value for their money.
The founder of Zipjosh also found the plight of a lot of youth encouraging enough to try and help their unemployment situation. Zipjosh unlike othercompanies did not start as a profit driven entity but as a problem-solving entity.
Our core values are excellence and innovation. We believe that with excellent services customer satisfaction is assured, which in turn will give us more buy ins and allow us to keep sellers and customers happy. When this is achieved fundamentally, we can then bridge the gap between the physical purchases and online purchases: so much so that buying goods online becomes as easy and cost efficient as actually buying it physically at a store.
Secondly, because we are not so profit-driven, we always aspire to leverage on the innovations that we come up with as profit of our hard work. We get better satisfaction when we find new ways to satisfy customers and deem that as the actual profit and incentive to go on.
Innovation is key because it will not only ensure our sustenance and relevance in the competitive market space but it will also push and shape the frontiers of how online trade should look like in the future.
Our mission and/or vision is to provide e-commerce services to the entire world with competitive pricing and have a lot more people employed so that they can also take care of the families. Humanitarianism is at the heart of Zipjosh, that is why we say “a whole lot for a lot less”.
