Gabriel Nartey’s story is one of resilience, determination, and unwavering perseverance. A proud alumnus of Sogakope Senior High School, he faced immense challenges on his path to earning a BSc in Administration (Banking & Finance) from the University of Ghana on February 15, 2025—a dream that once seemed impossible.

From Level 100 to mid-Level 300, Gabriel worked night shifts as a security guard to afford accommodation near campus and support himself through school. By night, he worked; by day, he studied—often attending lectures and writing exams while battling exhaustion.
When that job ended, things became even more difficult. At one point, he had to sleep in a lecture hall, uncertain of what the next day would bring. But rather than giving up, he took on a part-time teaching job and embraced leadership as Organizing Secretary of the Business House Junior Common Room—all while staying committed to his academic goals.
Through faith, hard work, and the support of many—including his parents, AXIS PENSION TRUST LTD., the University of Ghana Sponsorship Scheme, his friends, Christ Assembly Worldwide, and generous individuals behind the scenes—Gabriel triumphed. Despite the obstacles, he graduated with a Second Class Upper, a testament to his relentless spirit.
His journey serves as an inspiration to anyone facing adversity. It is a powerful reminder that no matter how tough the road gets, perseverance and faith can turn challenges into success.
To those struggling, his story is proof that with determination, the best days are yet to come!
