Shatta Wale and Medikal held the second edition of the Freedom Wave Concert on 25th December 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium. The concert had fans filling up the 40,000 capacity of the Accra Sports Stadium. This had some people on social media saying it is no big deal to fill up the Accra Sports Stadium since the tickets which sold at 20ghana cedis,50ghana cedis and 100ghana cedis for VVIP was very affordable for people to purchase.
Fans of Shatta Wale and Medikal were thrilled with amazing and breathtaking performances from the likes of Wendy Shay, Dope Nation, Larruso, Keche, La Meme Gang, Fotocopy, Kofi Kinaata, Kofi Jamar and many others. Some up-and-coming artists also graced the stage to exhibit their talent and promote their music to the huge crowd.
Shatta Wale and Medikal gave their fans an electrifying performance which has been the talk on social media. Security was very tight as there was a massive deployment of security personnel on the grounds, the pitch, in the stands and backstage where all artists waited in line for their performance. Also, there was an Ambulance on standby in case of any emergency.
