Six (6) nonprofit founders have been selected into this year’s Non-Profit Leaders (NPL) Fellowship Academy organized by National Consortium for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) Ghana
At the Academy, non-profit founders will receive series of mentoring and training to transform a problem in their communities into a social enterprise.
The non-profit founders will work directly with NCVO Ghana and with a team of experts for a year to develop their idea, solution, impact business model, and all other resources they will need to test market and access appropriate follow-on investment for scaling.
NCVO Ghana believe nonprofit organizations are community-based and have proximity to local issues. It also believes that nonprofit organizations have the potential to be more and more sustainable if they are supported to shift focus from the unsustainable ‘donation model’ to embracing social enterprising with keen focus on dignified job creation.
This maiden cohort is funded by the KGL FOUNDATION – The Ghanaian organization investing in Ghanaian-led solutions.
