The Heritage and Cultural Society of Africa (HACSA) Foundation is delighted to announce that its flagship event, the HACSA Sankofa Summit and Heritage Experience 2023 will take place from the 22nd to the 30th of July. This year’s events will be an educative and exciting networking experience with a wide range of engaging and informative tours, keynote addresses, panel discussions with renowned speakers and industry leaders, cultural displays, entertainment and social events.
On Monday 24th July, HACSA Foundation will host the HACSA Sankofa Summit at Kempinski Hotel Accra. Attendees can look forward to engaging panel discussions with esteemed panelists including award winning Actor and Filmmaker, Adjetey Anang, Chairperson of Opportunity Finance Network, Donna Gambrell and renowned Photographer & Founder of the Dikan Center, Paul Ninson. Attendees can also look forward to the Fundraiser Gala with a keynote address by Consort of the Ashanti King & Philanthropist Lady Julia Osei-Tutu, , performances from acclaimed artists Camidoh, Cina Soul, and Sofie.
The Heritage Experience is an enlightening Africa immersion programme with tours to key historical sites which are critical to understanding global history, the transatlantic slave trade, colonialism, emancipation and how the diaspora came into being. Some of the key sites participants will visit are Elmina and Cape Coast Castles, Independence Square and Akwamufie Royal Palace and Museum. Participants will explore the historical significance, architectural marvels, and cultural treasures that Ghana has to offer.
