In a momentous occasion for the HACSA Foundation, the successful graduation of the inaugural cohort from the HACSA Tech4 Girls Program has been celebrated. Johanna Svanikier, the Founder, President, and CEO of the HACSA Foundation, expressed profound joy at the realization of a dream that unfolded over the course of three months.
The Tech4 Girls Program, a natural progression from the previously established Girls Can Code initiative, focused on equipping participants with essential coding and ICT skills. Emphasis was also placed on fostering vital life and soft skills such as entrepreneurship, critical thinking, and public speaking, empowering these young girls for a future that demands adaptability and innovation.
Svanikier extended heartfelt gratitude to the partners and sponsors who played pivotal roles in the program’s success. TAF College, Reverend Johnnie Oquaye, Fidelity Bank Ghana, and Kowri Svani Limited were recognized for their invaluable contributions. The Sankofa Network patrons, donors, members, and volunteers, including Adjoa Andoh, Lisa Opoku, William Coker, Stella Coker, Yaw Asamoah, Peter Akwaboah, and GT Svanikier, were acknowledged for their unwavering support.
As the Foundation celebrates this significant milestone, attention turns to the future. The HACSA Foundation invites individuals and organizations to participate in creating lasting impact by sponsoring a girl for the upcoming Tech4 Girls cohort. Although the recent session has concluded, recruitment is actively underway for the next session scheduled to commence in April.
