Anthony Dzamefe, CEO of Ghana’s foremost watch manufacturing company, Caeveman Watches, is set to release his first book. Announcing the news on his Twitter page, he revealed that the book will contain lesser known details about entrepreneurship that are not talked about enough.
The book is titled “The Inside Job” and will also shed light on his personal experiences that have played a part in his success story.
Caveman Watches is an award winning brand, having won the 2021 Product of the year at the Ghana Manufacturing Awards and the Brand of the year award at the 2021 Emy Awards. The brand has also been earmarked by American news agency The New York Times as one of the rising luxury watch brands to look out for.
Mr Dzamefe’s journey begins in 2015 when he started TimepieceGH by buying and reselling watches in Accra. Soon after he began to source the watches straight from factories abroad, he got an idea to begin making his own watches locally.
He spent time as an apprentice to a leatherworker to learn how to make leather straps for watches, enrolled in a Swiss watchmaking course and proceeded to begin watch repairing and maintenance. From there he started making wall clocks from discarded wood and evolved into the Caveman brand.
The book is set to be released on the 12th of December 2021 and is available for preorder on +233557516667 and on www.anthonydzamefe.com
