Ghanaian Reggae & Dancehall superstar Stonebwoy has been inducted as a member of the 2021 Recording Academy Class for the Grammy awards.
The Recording Academy offers three types of membership. Voting Membership for recording creators, Professional Membership for music businesspeople and GRAMMY U for the next generation aspiring to a career in the music industry.
Announcing this on his Twitter, Stonebwoy expressed his excitement to give back to the music industry.
As part of the new @RecordingAcad member class, I’m honored to have an opportunity to celebrate, represent, and give back to the music and its creators. #WeAreMusic 🇬🇭 pic.twitter.com/YVHJGgoZwi

To become a member, prospectives have to submit two peer recommendations and a complete profile detailing their work in the music industry. New member submissions are considered by the Recording Academy’s Peer Review Panel each spring and if approved by Peer Review, candidates are invited to join the Recording Academy.
Fans of Stonebwoy and his music have taken to social media to celebrate this win.
If you read Stonebwoy tweet about the Ejura incident then you will realise that the guy is really really intelligent, no wonder he is now part of the Grammy academy member.
