GroundZero Network held its inaugural networking event, ‘Coffee Time out’ on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Vida E Café at East Legon.
The event which congregated over fifty (50) participants was aimed at creating an intimate environment that enables young people to widen their social capital and build connections for the present and future.
The event assembled illustrious personalities such as Anthony Dzamefe, CEO of Caveman Watches, Umaru Sanda, Broadcast Journalist at City FM, Edward Asare, social media marker at UBA, Esinam Seade, International trade advisor, Prosper Tornyi, Skills Hub Curator- YOTA and Dovi Senyo- Business Consultant.
The event was structured into phases. In the first phase, each guest shared their unique stories with attendees after which questions were posed to them. Following the end of the first phase, participants were grouped into small break-out units to enable a one-on-one conversation with a specific guest. These efforts ensured that each participants had a special unique encounter with each guest.
As part of the surprise packages, Baah The Artist, painted Esinam Seade, a moment which spiced upthe event.
Some of the participants took to social media to express their delight with the event. They were full of gratitude to the organizers for ensuring they had a worthwhile experience. Others also encouraged organizers to hold the next edition as quickly as possible.
Worship Frimpong, the team leader of Ground Zero Network, expressed satisfaction with the turn-out and overall success of the event.
“This being the first of many to come, I am impressed. We at Ground Zero believe that networking is critical for carving opportunities and as such, our goal is to use our platform to enable people identify prospects which will facilitate their growth. Our focal objective is to redefine networking and create an enabling environment and a community that guarantees support for its members for the purposes of today and tomorrow”.
He added that “the success of this event would not have been possible without the support of the entire team at GroundZero, Vida E café at East Legon, our amazing guests and top of it all, the wonderful people who graced the event”
David Quaye, head of communications of Groundzero, in his closing remarks called on corporate bodies and individuals to throw their support behind GroundZero.
