Celebrated Ghanaian media player Nana Aba Anamoah yesterday 10th of May 2021 posted a video on her social media pages looking for employment avenues for an unemployed graduate. The young man featured in the video, Antwi Boasiako is a product of the University of Ghana, Legon where he graduated with a second class upper in Political Sciences with Study of Religions in 2017.
Antwi Boasiako, a young man of 28 years has been working at a car wash bay at Agogba in Accra since he finished his national service. Due to his hard work and diligence, a customer of his recommended him to Nana Aba who took the time to go find him. It was during their encounter that she filmed a video of them both having a conversation in her car.
I’m looking for a job for ANTWI BOASIAKO. He has a 2nd Class Upper from the University of Ghana.

Antwi completed his mandatory National Service with the Ghana Red Cross Society. Somewhere in between trying to survive after national service and working at the car wash bay, Antwi was able to secure a short contract with the National Identification Authourity to work as an assistant during the Nationwide Ghana Card registration that took place last year, 2020. After the completion of the contract, Antwi returned to trying to survive as an unemployed graduate in the middle of a pandemic.
At the time the video was recorded, Antwi had been working at the car wash bay for 7 months. Less than 24 hours after Nana Aba posted the video, she has been flooded with job opportunities and scholarship openings for Antwi Boasiako.
I’m overwhelmed with job offers and scholarships for Antwi Boasiako 🥲🥲❤️❤️

Social media users have used this as an opportunity to push the #FixTheCountry campaign harder, citing that it should not take knowing a famous person to have access to employment opportunities.
