Sam George graduates from LSE as first Ghanaian student to pursue ‘International Strategy and Diplomacy’

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo-Prampram, Sam Nartey George has received a second degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science-LSE.
In a social media post, Sam George said that he graduated with an “MSc. in International Strategy and Diplomacy.”
He said it was challenging studying for a degree in person and working as an MP. He explained that juggling all these duties have taught him that one can achieve anything with determination, grit and planning.
“The challenge of Parliament and my Constituency coupled with the work being done on the Private Members Bill my Colleagues and I are sponsoring, to having to study the course in person with the demands of family life as an added layer of responsibility, have taught me one thing – determination, grit and planning achieves everything.”
“This latest academic pursuit has not just opened a new vista in my career path but has as the LSE motto says, made me “know the causes of things”. I’m grateful to the academic faculty, my dissertation supervisor, my colleagues and my loving family for the support in the past year as I embarked on this odyssey. My ultimate gratitude is to the LORD for His infinite grace and provision which made what was just a dream possible,” he added.
Sam George is confident that he will use the knowledge acquired at the LSE IDEAS to serve Ghana better than he is doing now. Here is a link to his post on Instagram
