In a fierce competition between students from various universities across Ghana, Michael emerged overall winner and awarded GH₵10,000 and gifts from MTN Ghana and other sponsors.
After three months within which there were eliminations at various stages of the competition, the top 6 contestants faced off on January 27, 2023 at L’AINE Office Complex for the Grand Finale.
Due to their hard-work and exceptional performances, all finalists were students from UPSA. Meet the finalists;
Michael Ackon – A third year Public Relations Student, Organizer for COMSSA UPSA and Vice President for the UPSA Entrepreneurship Club.
Ashiraf Salaudeen – A final year Business Administration Student and SRC External Affairs President.
Josephine Edem Vigbedor – A third year Banking and Finance Student and SRC Sponsorship Committee Head.
Princess Ibrahim – A final year Business Administration Student who has competed in and won many business competitions.
Amoah Sarfo Kwarteng – A third year Accounting Student and Vice President for DASA UPSA.
Marvin Agyeman – A third year Public Relations Student and Deputy Organizer for COMSSA UPSA.
The first round of the Finals had all contestants deliver a sales presentation on a business they have started or wish to start in, 6 minutes.
The second round was a brutal competition of quizzing on ‘Business Knowledge’ and what contestants learned at the Business Challenge Boot Camp 2022.
This round proved to be a game-changing moment for Michael as he confidently shone with his impressive answers to the challenging questions.
Ashiraf Salaudeen, also took home GH₵3,000.00 as First Runner Up. Second Runner Up, Josephine Edem Vigbedor, received GH₵2,000.00. Third, Fourth and Fifth Runner Up, Princess Ibrahim, Amoah Sarfo Kwarteng, and all other contestants received souvenirs from MTN Ghana.
UPSA remains four-time champions of the competition after emerging winners in the previous editions.
