Dr. Genevieve Duncan Obuobi, Mrs Nana Adwoa Konadu-Dsane, Mrs Henrietta Sefogah and many more women over the weekend took awards at the She Awards Goobal ceremony held at Double Tree By Hilton in Dubai, UAE. The awards scheme is organised and managed by Ladies In Business Magazine Global.
Started by Nigerian businesswoman Adeshola Helen Onadipe, S.H.E. Awards is an avenue to highlight the struggles and successes of businesswomen from all walks of life in any and everybody of the world. Originally based in Nigeria, the scheme has over the years expanded to cover more places including the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Genevieve Pearl Duncan Obuobi, a banker, consultant, trainer and author was the recipient of a VIP Achiever award and was also honoured as the Ladies in Business Magazine Global Chair for Ghana. She also launched a must read book “The Diary of a Branch Manager“ at the event.
Elinam Horgli, the managing director of JK Horgli Transport took home an award under the achievers category. Adeline Quarshie, CEO of Credence and Audrey Abakah ,Head SME Banking, ABSA both in the financial sectors were awarded under the achievers category for their impact in the financial sector and for supporting SMEs.
Mrs Henrietta Sefogah, the managing director of Shape Healthcare Ghana also received the Excellence in Business leadership award. Mrs Nana Adwoa Konadu-Dsane, President Thyroid Ghana foundation and Deputy Director of the University of Ghana Medical and Research Centre was also among the honoured women of the night.
