Sylvia Inkoom, the Deputy Managing Director of UBA Ghana has been named a fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Sylvia Inkoom is one of the top women in banking in Africa, operating with a wealth of experience that spans national and international banking & finance. With over 16 years experience in the Banking Sector, specifically in Corporate Banking, Relationship Management and Global Markets (Treasury), she specialises in fixed income, interest rates, equities and exchange rates.
She has worked with Zenith Bank as a relationship manager, with Stanbic Bank as Global Markets Coverage Manager and later, Head of Corporate banking. She is currently the Deputy Managing Director of UBA Group. She has several years in senior management roles and has overseen the negotiation, arrangement and execution of landmark transactions across various sectors.
She got her Bsc in Banking and Finance from the University of Ghana, Legon and her MBA from the same university. In 2014, she obtained a certificate in Client Strategic Management from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. That same year, she received a certificate in Corporate Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
