Benedict Boakye Graduates From ISPITS – Agadir With BSc in Medical Laboratory Science

Lab technicians have been an integral yet invisible part of the health care system in Ghana and the world over. But with the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, the world was hit with the need for qualified personnel to man old and new laboratory facilities in response to the sudden demand of testing centres. With new ailments cropping up by the day and more people paying more attention to their health, professions in the health industry have become attractive.

As much as the events of the past few years have shaped the careers of some people, others had already chosen to walk the path before any of this began. Benedict Boakye, popularly known as KB on twitter, a young Ghanaian man just shared the news of his graduation from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory science.

Benedict has been a vocal part of Ghana’s twitter landscape since 2017, amassing over 29,000 followers over this relatively short period of time. He has thrilled his followers with funny quotes, motivational quotes, interesting photos among others. Due to this, his graduation has come as a shock to many.

Sharing photos from his graduation, he posted a number of pictures with a caption culled from Proverbs 31;25, replacing “she’ with “he”.

His post has since been met with tons of congratulatory messages and well wishes.
