Chemu SHS Girl In Form 2 Beats 23 Finalists To Win Best Orator Award At Inter-School Public Speaking Event

Loise Mensah, a Chemu Senior High School student, has been adjudged the Overall Best Orator at the 2022 Orators Inter-School Public Speaking Championship, which is the second edition of the competition.

As reported by myjoyonline.com, the brilliant young lady who is currently in form 2 defeated the champions of the contest to also pick up the Best Impromptu Speech award, which is another coveted honour at the competition.

The contest saw a total of 24 students representing 12 schools from 5 regions battling it out with thought-provoking and creative speeches in 3 exciting speaking rounds, as edwardasare.com earlier reported.

The Orators Championship is an inter-high school programme designed to foster the cognitive, critical thinking and expression of students.

The programme is organised as a joint partnership between Africa Schools Online and Speech Forces. This year’s edition was supported by Africa Leadership Academy, Voltic Ghana and Niche Cocoa.

The maiden edition that was held in 2021 saw Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School emerge as the first winners of the competition that has the dream of getting bigger over the years and bringing on more participating schools
