Abena Yeboah is a young lady who has dedicated her life to helping and assisting young people and solving society’s problems. She is an entrepreneur with a passion to create opportunities out of problems.
In a bid to protect the environment from plastic waste and pollution, Abena is providing backpacks made with pure water sachets to deprived students, killing two birds with one stone. The amount of plastic waste in the environment is reduced and students in need are being helped.
She is the founder and leader of Eduhub Ghana, an organization that seeks to provide a good study environment for students in deplorable schools. She describes Eduhub Ghana as “a community for the youth” with an aim “to empower, strengthen, mentor and educate the youth” in identifying and utilising opportunities to better themselves.
Abena Yeboah also runs “WhatsApp Market and Courier Services ” to help student entrepreneurs balance school with a trade to sustain them. She started by selling products of other students through WhatsApp and social media. Today, she has an active platform of buyers and sellers that include students, small businesses and some known brands.
Away from all of this, Abena also is a marketer for Luxxcase Ghana, a bespoke phone case company. She’s an advertiser & Public Relations Officer for “Girls with Purpose ” where she extends her support and time to empower other young women.
She has a foundation degree in French from Alliance Français D’Accra, a diploma in Database Technology from IPMC Ghana and a foundation degree in Arts, Media and Communication studies from Curtin University, Malaysia. She was nominated for The Young Achievers Award “18” in July for the overall Female entrepreneur of the year and Best female entrepreneur of the year.
Abena continues to excel and contribute to society in her own unique ways, eschewing fame and focusing on what she can contribute to the lives of others through her philanthropy and entrepreneurship.
