Meet Asilgya Nimatu, The Nurse & Founder of SHE4G Foundation

Ms. Asilgya Nimatu is the Executive Director of SHE4G Foundation, located in Accra, Ghana. Her passion is to reach out to the young girls in Ghana and beyond to cultivate skills, mentor and provide health education. She echoes the importance of the young girl’s personal hygiene, education and self confidence inspired by her tough upbringing.

Starting the SHE4G foundation in 2019, she has reached out to and impacted over 5,000 women and girls across various regions and institutions. She hopes to reach out to even more in the near future.

Through the NGO, she hopes to reach out to every Girl child to empower and support them in every area of their lives especially Menstrual hygiene and Confidence. She discusses Menstrual hygiene and donates items which include toiletries, sanitary pads, Shea butter products , nose masks, panties and many more.

Asilgya is an inspiration to hundreds of children. She attended Tutco Model Demonstration Primary and Junior High School later attended St Francis girls Senior High School; and continued her education at Nalerigu Nursing and Midwifery School all in the Northern part of Ghana.

Asilgya Nimatu has passion for the hospitality industry and has the experience of Hotel management and conferencing. It is her a dream to establish her NGO office in the hearts of Accra and continue to impact the younger generations. It is also her dream to establish a training center to train young women/ girls in some selected fields such as dress making, hair dressing and wig making, weaving, and many others to enable them to be self reliant and cater for themselves and family
