Cindy Opoku Annor (Mrs) is a product of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, with an MBA in MARKETING and a BA in Publishing Studies, both from said school.
Ever since her childhood, Cindy loved mathematics and the study of the atmosphere and so wanted to be a meteorologist where science and mathematics are used to understand and predict weather and climate.
Today, she is a Banker with UBA Ghana, with over 12 years of successful banking experience, working with people across board to process and post transactions and in the positions of increasing responsibilities and duties.
After her transfer to the Accra head office of the bank she’s working with, and to a new department needing to quickly understand and adapt to a new culture, new people and a new political arena. She believes that what it takes to succeed in any new situation is a matter of learning new ways of working and, most importantly, letting go of old ones — even if they’ve driven your career success up until now.
As Head of Cash Management, Cindy beat cash shortages by 95% while mentoring colleagues, something is she extremely proud of.
She is very happy with herself and plans to impact more lives and take up challenging more challenging roles in the banking industry, moving away from her comfort zone; where nothing grows.
