A young Ghanaian lady Puumaya Fareedah Attah Nantogmah, has been called to the Ghanaian Bar on the 25th anniversary of her father’s call to the bar. Her father, Mahamadu Attah Nantogmah, Esq. was called to the Ghanaian bar the same year Puumaya was born.
Puumaya is an old student of the SOS Hermann Gmeiner International College. From there, she got the opportunity to study for an LLB degree from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom. She then went ahead to BPP University in the UK, where she completed a one year Bar Professional Training Course. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2019.
As a patriotic Ghanaian, Puumaya returned home to do her mandatory National Service at the legal department of the Volta River Authority before enrolling at the Ghana School of Law to do the Post Call Course. She is currently under pupillage with Sory At Law, a prestigious law firm in East Legon.
She reportedly attributes her success and upbringing to her parents, who have held her hand throughout her journey to the UK and Ghana Bar.
Puumaya is a creative consultant on the side and also hosts a podcast called ‘Free Your Mind.’
