The 19th edition of the prestigious Ghana Club (GC) 100 awards will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Accra’s Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel. This year’s event, themed “Ghana’s Private Sector, a Catalyst for Post-Pandemic Economic Transformation,” will rank and celebrate outstanding Ghanaian companies for standing the test of time and making an impact in their respective industries.
The top 100 enterprises in strategic sectors such as agriculture and agribusiness, financial services, ICT, infrastructure, petroleum, mining services, manufacturing, tourism, health, and education will be recognized.
MTN was named the best company in the country in the 18th edition of this event, which took place in 2019.
Returning from a two-year hiatus caused by COVID-19, the 19th edition of the Ghana Club 100 awards promises to be exciting, as it will continue to provide incentives for top performers across industries while also promoting an open information culture within Ghana’s corporate sector.
The companies to be honored on the night “were chosen after a rigorous screening process and ranked based on their size, growth, profitability, and corporate social responsibility,” according to Yofi Grant, CEO of GIPC. He went on to say that, despite the global crises, these companies performed admirably and deserved to be recommended.
The Ghana Club 100 event this year will feature three exhilarating sessions. The first event is the Executive Networking Cocktail Session, where club members and other high-level business executives can network and strengthen business ties. This will be followed by the main event, in which ranked businesses will be honored.
The night will conclude with post-event celebrations, a semi-formal session for participants to celebrate/party following a successful awards night.
