Joseph Odoom Represents Ghana in ‘House of Chefs’ on DSTV

‘House of Chefs’ is a brand new African cooking show airing on DSTV with South African celebrity chef and restaurant owner, Siba Mtongana and Ugandan TV personality, Sheilah Gashumba. On the show, eight young chefs from seven different African countries will be battling it out for the ultimate prize.

Representing Ghana is Joseph Odoom, a 26-year-old trainee chef already accomplishing a lot on his own in Accra. With a Bachelor of Technology in Hospitality Management & Administration from the Takoradi Technical University, he is passionate about food and cooking. Currently, Joseph is the Executive Chef of Puffs Gh Accra. He has experience working as a Demi pastry chef at the Villamonticello boutique hotel in Accra where he worked for over 2 years.

Bringing his enthusiasm and experience to the competition, Joseph is set to compete against Thabo from South Africa, Tobe from Nigeria, Merry and Ruth from the DRC, Les from Kenya, Kalu from Zambia and Ingrid from Rwanda to be rewarded with a cash prize of $5,000.

House of Chefs by Honey Africa TV premiered on Friday, 13th August 2021; 8pm (WAT) on DSTV Channel 173 and is being hosted by the Award-winning TV host, Sheilah Gashumba and the competition is judged by Food Network Star, Restauranteur and host of Siba’s table, Siba Mtongana.

The show will be airing this and every Friday until the ultimate winner is crowned. And as with any other endeavour to internationally represent Ghana and raise the flag high, we wish Joseph all the best and hope he brings home the grand prize.
