Francisca Lamini, a young lady who became famous after making history in the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz has finally began her studies at Harvard University
A photo of Francisca in the Ivy League school that is rated as one of the best institutions in the world has surfaced online, bringing back the nostalgia of the achievement that the young lady chalked during the popular national quiz competition.
As readers would recall, Francisca Lamini from Keta Senior High Technical School became the first female student to make it to the grande finale of the National Science and Maths Quiz in eight years and scored 8 grade ‘A’s in the 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Prior to that, the young lady had scored the same grade when she sat as a private candidate for the same exam in the previous year when she was in her 2nd year at Keta Senior High school. Now, she is well on track to attaining her childhood dream of becoming a Medical Doctor at Harvard.
Subsequently, Francisca bagged a full scholarship to study at Harvard in the United States.
The exciting news of Francisca’s new journey was first shared on the Facebook page of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ghana with a picture of Francisca and a couple of the chamber’s representatives.
